Most of the paintings made by Civera in the late eighties consist of groups of small or medium-sized works in a range of formats and on different supports using very few colours. Guided by a subjective impulse, Civera created a plastic language made up of fragments of abstractions, symbols or simply memories of sensations or of intimate moments. These three slight and subtle works have been brought together by the artist with no hierarchy, so their individual styles catch the eye in an intimate conversation that is definitely enigmatic, being as it is inspired by intuition and emotion, which is precisely what gives it its evocative quality.
