Kuitca's work addresses space, the public and private, language and death, awaking multiple existential concerns with the density of his images. The word Coming centred in the middle of the composition represents the action of returning home and bringing the world into private space. From the outside space of the city, indicated on the canvas by a street plan, Kuitca travels to the domestic space in which he lives, which may be interpreted as the territory where all his ideals originate. Returning home could also suggest the need to reinterpret the artists he admires (the piece is based on a work by Gilbert and George).
