The legacy of the ideas of the New British Sculpture is to be seen in the unusual combination of materials and utensils of various kinds, as well as resources with a certain "female aesthetic", which can be summed up in a sensibility that involves the use of objects traditionally associated with the world of women. Concha García focused her career over the nineties on sculpture, understood as it had been produced in the previous decade. In her career as a sculptor, we can appreciate a slight evolution towards a greater formal refinement, also characterised by a greater forcefulness in the individual results, and by what is usually called "good taste". That last element is undoubtedly due to the use of white as a raw material throughout those years, and to diffuse evocations of an abstract memory.
